Species: | Largemouth, Pike |
Description: | This is an oval shaped lake with varying depths. Extremely shallow at the put-in and opening up to a good sized lake with depths up to 20 feet. |
Strategy: | Paddle out to the main lake from the portage area. Once there, troll the main body of the lake for pike. Give the weed bed area at the left end a lot of attention as nice sized pike are often taken there. Fish the weed beds, beaver-huts and rocky shorelines for bass. Spinner baits and crawlers work well. |
Things to Consider: |
Often over-looked, as you have to cross this lake to get to Basson. |
