We are located in WMU 42, which is a massive hunting zone that stretches from Killarney Provincial Park right up to the French River. The size of our hunting zone combined with the fact that the MNR only issues a couple of adult Moose tags per year for WMU 42 gives our moose hunters an extremely high success rate.

We give Bear Lake Wilderness Lodge guests from the past 3 years first shot at our Moose hunt, which is comprised of 1 adult tag and one calf tag. If our Moose hunt has not been sold to previous guests by January 1st, we make it available to the open market.
