Millions of people catch fish in Ontario every year. The Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters sponsors the OFAH Ontario Angler Awards. Anyone can enter a fish, which was caught-&-released in Ontario waters. Residents and visitors alike enter countless numbers of trophy fish but only the very biggest trophies make the Top 10 List.

In 2006, guest staying at Bear Lake Wilderness Lodge entered many trophies including fish that made it into the Top-10 List for both Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass. Guests caught several Walleyes that just missed the Top-10 by a fraction of an inch.
